Bent Mounta
in Center is a community facility operated by an independent non-profit agency dedicated to offering educational, recreational and social services. Housed in the former Bent Mountain Elementary School, this historic site has served as a gathering place for the Floyd, Franklin, Montgomery and Roanoke County region for over 100 years. This facility is not operated by Roanoke County. Please follow the links below to learn more about this facility:
Bent Mountain Park: Located on the property is a small park containing a picnic shelter, playground and lawn area maintained by Roanoke County and open to the general public.
Directions: Take Route 221 South to Bent Mountain (towards Floyd). Go past Bent Mountain Rescue Squad. Turn right onto Tinsley Lane. Park is to the right of the community center (former school building).
