    Begin your morning with this low impact fitness class, designed to blend standing and seated exercises to improve endurance, strength and balance. The class will increase heart rate through gentle exercises and will end with seated poses to improve flexibility and posture.   1. Ellis Life Guard Training (Ages 15+)

    February 21, 2020, 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM @ Green Ridge Recreation Center

    Be a part of the aquatics team! This is an intensive lifeguard training course that teaches high protection standards to enable you to prevent guests from catastrophic injury or drowning. This program gives lifeguards the skills and technical knowledge to become an effective member of an aquatics emergency response team. Upon completion of course participants are eligible for employment at the Green Ridge indoor pool and Splash Valley during the summer. Must be 16 to be considered for employment. Pre-registration is required. Prerequisite: Must be 15 years old to enroll and be able to swim 100 yds, retrieve a brick from a depth of 8 ft. and tread water for one minute. Classes will be Wed- Fri 4:30pm-9:00pm, Sat & Sun. 8:00am-2:00pm.

    Enjoy an evening of making and eating Indian Food with a loved one. You will learn how to prepare a traditional Indian meal of Shaami Kabaab (spicy beef cutlets), Veggie Biryani (rice cooked with seasonal vegetables) and Pinni (dessert made with gram flour, white wheat and urad daal). After helping prepare the meal, enjoy the three-course dinner. Instructor Bhawana Scaer is from India and has been teaching Indian-style cooking for many years and loves to share her culture with others! One registration per couple.
