Join a Park Naturalist in reading some of her favorite children’s books about animals in winter. After reading, we will retell a story using local animals to make our own Virginia versions. Each book will have its own activity station where participates can create a variety of nature crafts for the animals in their backyard or props for winter story telling. Learn about Virginia animals and have fun! Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Pre-registration is required. Please dress for outdoor winter activities.
