    Have fun and socialize while de-stressing from the work week! In this three-hour class you will learn basics of still life painting using acrylic on canvas. Theme for night will be a Still Life Painting. Leandra will bring a floral arrangement but students are encouraged to bring their own "still life" object if they prefer. Instructor Leandra has a background in Fine Art and Graphic Design. Pizza, salad, drinks and all art supplies provided.

  4. Loom Knitting Basics (Ages 18+)

    After completing your project in Introduction to Loom Knitting, this class is a comprehensive review of loom knitting and covers four cast-ons, four bind-offs as well as many other "must knows", abbreviations and terms about loom knitting. We will spend time practicing what we learn so you can truly make many beginner projects the FIRST time on your own! Everything is provided that is needed to practice all of the skills. Instructor Tonya Hodges is excited to share her knowledge with you! She has learned by training herself and is willing to share input not found in books to help with barriers that may arise. She has been loom knitting since 2014 and has started her own business, Learn to Loom Knit, as well.

    Are you or your friends a) vegan b) avoiding dairy c) lactose-intolerant or d) all of the above. Learn to prepare a three-course meal with added vegetarian tips and snacks. These recipes makes sure everyone has something on the menu at your next dinner. A creamy corn chowder, a vegan avocado pasta with blackened vegetables and of course dessert! To end the meal, an orange vegan cake topped with a whipped coconut cream (vegan whipped cream). Chef Dominic made an appearance on the fourth season of Fox Network's Hell's Kitchen. He looks forward to the opportunity to bring his family-friendly attitude, skills and good-natured cooking to you and yours!

  8. Beginner Obedience & Good Manners (Ages 18+)

    Want a dog who listens better? In this basic training course, dog parents will learn how to best communicate with their dogs in order to teach them good manners. Positive reinforcement training methods are used to teach the following behaviors: touch, look, sit, down, stand, come, settle, wait, take it, loose-leash walking, plus more. Other topics include parent separation, agility exercises, impulse control, and canine communication. Dogs must complete either Puppy Kindergarten or be at least 6 months old. Six week course taught by High Hopes Dog Training.

  9. Intermediate Obedience & Problem Solving (Ages 18+)

    Now that your dog has learned some good manners, the next step is to apply those manners to real life situations while addressing common behavior problems like jumping on guests, door-dashing, pulling on the leash, not coming when called, etc. Behaviors taught include stay, place, leave it, heel, touch tag, and more. Dogs will be taught to respond to both verbal and non-verbal cues. Six week course taught by High Hopes Dog Training. Prerequisite: Graduation from High Hopes Dog Training Beginner Obedience & Good Manners course.
