    The single most important (and fun) thing you can do for your puppy? Puppy Kindergarten!!   14. Swing Dance Roanoke Dance Lessons - Swing 101

    Want a new way to have fun and exercise? Swing Roanoke will be teaching classes to keep your feet moving! Each six week series of classes will cover various swing dances like East Coast Swing, 20's or 30's Charleston, Lindy Hop, and others. No partner is required and those with two left feet are welcome!     Want a dog who listens better? In this basic training course, dog parents will learn how to best communicate with their dogs in order to teach them good manners. Other topics include parent separation, agility exercises, impulse control, and canine communication. Dogs must complete either Puppy Kindergarten or be at least 6 months old. Upon completion of course participants are eligible for employment at the Green Ridge indoor pool and Splash Valley during the summer. Must be 16 to be considered for employment. Pre-registration is required. Prerequisite: Must be 15 years old to enroll and be able to swim 100 yds, retrieve a brick from a depth of 8 ft. and tread water for one minute.   49. Canine Good Citizen Certification Course (Ages 18+)

    Don't we all want our dogs to be Canine Good Citizens? Well, we can help make that happen! During this six week course, we focus on the ten skills needed by all well-mannered dogs as outlined in the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen Program. The CGC Program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community while stressing responsible pet ownership. The CGC test is administered on the last day of class, and all dogs who pass will receive a certificate from the AKC. Instruction provided by High Hopes Dog Training.(Pre-requisite: Dogs must have graduated from Intermediate Obedience or have had private lessons with High Hopes.)
