Introducing the most comprehensive functional training system anywhere! It’s the equipment of choice for some of the nation’s top military, police and firefighting professionals. Now, we’re proud to be the first facility in Southwest Virginia to offer this unique array of training tools. This equipment is available to our personal training clients, Lose Big participants, and by open session signup for members.
Open Workout Times (NEW)
From April to September each year, Green Ridge members can sign up for a workout time for only $5 per session for members or $8 for non-members. Enjoy the fresh air and get a fantastic workout to build strength, enhance speed and recover. Staff will be on hand to help with form and set-up, but workouts are self guided. Current available times are Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings (55-minute sessions).

Step 3 -Log-in to your Roanoke County parks account (or select "create account" if you don't have one).
Step 4 - Check out and join the class on your chosen dates! Registration is suggested at least 48-hours prior to the program's start time to reserve your spot (walk-ins are welcome for a limited time).

As an outdoor feature, the TRX Tactical Training Locker may close unexpectedly due to inclement or extreme weather conditions.
Refunds - If a session is canceled, a $5 credit will be placed on your account to be used on a future date. Please see the wellness manager, Paula Bany to reschedule your session or request a refund. She may be contacted by email or phone at (540) 777-6310. No refunds will be given due to participant no-shows.
LIFT - Build strength and power through multi-joint movement and recruitment of major muscles while you squat, bench, press and more! Squat rack, bumper plates and kettlebells are just a few of the tools you’ll use in the Lift section!
MOVE - Enhance speed, agility and overall quality of movement through functional training and conditioning you to peak performance. Pulls up bars, rip trainer, suspension trainer, and heavy ropes are some of the equipment that will help you reach your optimal athletic performance.
RECOVER - Utilize active recovery techniques and employ myofascial release movement to increase overall mobility and range of motion. Recovery is also an important piece of increased cardio endurance.
