Historic Mount Union Church, originally located in Botetourt County’s Haymaker district, is a reconstructed 1880’s Greek Revival style facility. The church features beautiful dark wood pews, a raised platform alter with arch, and lovely wood flooring. A restroom is located at the rear of the church as well as a bridal dressing room. The church features an heating and air conditioning systems for your comfort. In addition, there is a doorway at the rear of the church to accommodate brides walking down the aisle.
Arthur Taubman Center
The Arthur Taubman Center has a full floor option for ceremony or reception and entertainment.
The main level features a large central room with a fireplace, built-in wooden bar, and a spacious windowed walk-through area that leads to the inviting outdoor deck with views of the park. Off the central room is an additional room as well as bathrooms located on this level.
Mount Union Church or the Arthur Taubman Center rent for $1,750 for a ten-hour period.

Explore Park Outdoor Venues
Explore Park has several outdoor wedding and reception options based on availability and park activities. The Butterfly Garden with Pergola Arbor is an intimate and lovely spot. More expansive meadow areas in Riverside Village feature rustic, historical buildings as scenic backdrops. These include the Houtz Barn Field featuring a German double crib bank barn and a historical 1800’s blacksmith shop.
Explore Park outdoor venues rent for a $1,250 fee for a ten-hour period OR and can be combined with the use of the Arthur Taubman Center (see above).
Outdoor venues are walk-in only and are not accessible by vehicle.
