 How to Sign Up

 STEP 1: HEALTH FORM SUBMISSION - All camp programs require at 2019 health form available online at RoanokeCountyParks.com/healthform.

  • NEW SAVINGS - When your health form is completed, write down the coupon code that appears on your screen. Use the code during the registration step to get $5 OFF each camp. A health form must be completed by each child by the following deadlines.

    • Day Camps - Forms are due the Wednesday before your camp's start date. If this is not received you may be withdrawn and refunded less an admin fee of $25
    • Overnight Camps - Forms are due two weeks prior to your camp's start date. If not received you may be withdrawn and refunded less and admin fee of $50

STEP 2: REGISTRATION & PAYMENT - The fastest way to register is online through our registration portal. Either search for your selected programs on the registration site, or follow the links provided in our digital camp guide or in the chart below.

  • ADDITIONAL DISCOUNTS - Please note that outdoor adventure and overnight camps get an additional $25 off by signing up 60 days or more prior to the program start date. Green Ridge Recreation Center members get $10 off the full-day Green Ridge Summer Day Camp.

    Energetic, experienced staff will lead children in a summer of F-U-N with activities including arts & crafts, cooking, games, swimming, field trips and much more each week.   3. Green Ridge Summer Day Camp

    There’s no way your kids will be bored this summer, when they sign up for full day camp at Green Ridge! This program combines the ‘healthy fun’ of Green Ridge Recreation Center and Splash Valley Water Park, with the excitement of organized activities from our experienced staff.   4. Frozen Camp (Ages 3-5)

    Do you want to build a snowman? Make snow, do cute Frozen-themed crafts, play Frozen-themed games, make ice cream and sno-cones. Thursday will be dress-up day so come dressed as your favorite character and we will have dramatic play and games that day! Must be fully potty-trained.

  5. Cooking Around the World Camp (Ages 10-13)

    Explore the world cuisine without leaving Roanoke and learn how to cook different foods from different countries! Monday will be Mexican food, Tuesday will be Italian food, Wednesday will be Asian food, Thursday will be Mediterranean food and Friday will be all-American! Please note that common allergens will be used in the camp like flour, milk, tree nuts, peanuts, etc and menu will not be altered to accommodate allergens.

  6. Jr. Scientist Camp (Ages 6-9)

    Physics, Chemistry, Biology-oh my! Create gooey silly putty, explore gravity through experiments, and much more! Each day your child will bring home two very cool experiments. Lesson plans will be SOL-based.

    It is adventure time! Save the toys and play silly games! Use a lasso, do a Buzz Lightyear training course, Bullseye target training, and more! Your kid will have a blast in this fun Toy Story-themed camp! Must be fully potty-trained.

    Feeling flashy? Beauty Camp is an introduction into the world of refinement. You will take a trip into the world of manicures, pedicures, and facials. Come join us for a week of pampering, while learning to apply beauty products the right way, discovering how to use different colors, learn better techniques at painting nail designs, and learn products to use for soft healthy skin.     Get ahead of the game with this week long day camp dedicated to the world of outdoor sports. Learn skills of the trade from experienced staff with an emphasis on education, ethics, and fun!     Splash into a week of fun! Camp participants will spend time enjoying both our indoor and outdoor water parks, water games, themed crafts, compete in challenges and other activities under the direct supervision of our camp staff.
