Indoor Pool

Green Ridge Recreation Center’s indoor pool is open! Portions of the pool including the lap lanes, current river, central swimming area, large water slide, spray ground & zero depth entry area are available daily, according to the following schedule:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday:
7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 7:45 PM (All Features Open after 4:00 PM only.)

Wednesday:
7:00 AM to 11:00 AM (No Features Open)

Friday:
7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM (All Features Open after 4:00 PM only.) 

*Saturday:
12:00 PM to 4:00 PM September 30 - November 18 (All Features Open) *When there are no group swimming lessons the pool opens at 11:00 AM.

Sunday:
12:00 PM to 4:00 PM (All Features Open) 

PLEASE NOTE: The spa is open during Indoor Pool operating hours with the exception of during group swim lessons on Wednesday evenings. 

Not a member? Non-members can use the indoor pool with the purchase of a daily admission pass (ages 2 and under are free).

Aquatic Exercise Classes

The pool will resume group exercise classes for members and daily admission customers on the following weekly schedule:

  • Monday - 9:00 am - H20 Functional Fitness
  • Monday - 5:30 pm - H20 Fusion 
  • Tuesday & Thursday - 9:00 am - HYDROPOWER 
  • Wednesday - 9:00 AM - HYDROFIT
  • Friday - 9:00 am - HYDROFIT 

Our indoor aquatics area is designed with family fun in mind. Whether you’re looking for a place to splash, slide, swim or relax there’s something for everyone. We also offer aquatics exercise classes, American Red Cross certified group swimming lessons, and personalized private or semi-private swimming instruction. The indoor pool is kept at a comfortable 84 degrees, so it’s never too chilly to take a swim. Please see pool schedule prior to your visit for operating hours. Indoor Pool Rules



General Indoor Pool Rules
                                                                           
  • A lifeguard must be on duty before entering the pool area.
  • Children 5 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult in the water.
  • Children 9 -12 year olds may be in the pool area while their parent or guardian is in the facility.
  • Ages 13 years and older may enjoy the pool on their own.  
  • All swimmers are strongly encouraged to shower before and after entering the pool
  • People with infectious or communicable diseases, open sores, or diarrhea are prohibited from using the pool.   
  • All diaper dependent guests must wear an approved swim diaper.
  • Appropriate bathing attire is required. In order to maintain a family friendly atmosphere, no ‘thongs’ allowed.
  • Food, gum, or open drinks are not allowed. Re-sealable plastic or metal drink bottles are allowed.
  • We do not allow glass articles in or around the pool, deck, and locker rooms.       
  • All personal floatation devices must be Coast Guard approved and are available upon request. 
  • Failure to obey the rules and/or the directions of the lifeguards, or behaving in a manner that adversely affects customer safety and comfort, may result in removal from the facility.
  • Horseplay such as running, excessive splashing, shoving, throwing, or dunking is not allowed.
  • We do not allow diving, flips, or back jumps off the side of pool, steps, or ladders.
  • Please do not hang on or climb over the ropes, lane lines, or lazy river wall.
  • Please leave all floats, noodles and balls at home. 
  • Kick boards, pull buoys, fins, and snorkels are allowed for exercising purposes in the lap lanes only. 
  • Lap lanes are reserved for lap swimming or walking/jogging, group exercise, private or group swim lessons.
  • Freelance swim instruction is not allowed, with the exception of children being taught by family members.

 

Spray Ground Rules

  • Children 5 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult in the water.
  • The spray ground is recommended for children under 48 inches tall.
  • Any horseplay is not allowed in this area.
  • Climbing up the slides and hiding under the slides is not allowed.
  • All general Indoor Pool Rules apply.

 

Spa Rules

  • Children 4-8 years old must be with an adult at all times.  Children 3 and under may not use the spa.
  • We do not allow personal floatation devices in the spa.
  • Elderly persons, pregnant women, persons using prescription medications, and persons suffering from heart disease, diabetes, or high blood pressure should consult a physician before using the spa.
  • Please do not spend more than 15 minutes in the spa at any given time.
  • Sitting on top of the spa wall, on the stairs, or on the middle jet fountain is not allowed.
  • Horseplay such as running, excessive splashing, shoving, throwing, or dunking is not allowed.
  • All other general Indoor Pool Rules apply.                                                                                                    

Slide Rules

  • Maximum rider weight is 300 lbs.
  • Users must be a minimum of 48" tall to ride the slide.
  • Children under 48” must take a swim test and pass to ride the slide. (The swim test is one length of the lap lane. The swimmer may not touch the sides or the bottom until they get to the other end of the lane.)
  • Only one rider at a time.  Staff will instruct the patron when it is their turn to go down the slide.
  • Patrons must be sitting or lying down on back with feet first entry.  Arms are crossed across chest and legs are crossed. Riders may not stop, stand, spin, or flip while on the slide.
  • Lifejackets, toys, tubes, goggles, eye glasses, or water shoes etc. are not allowed on the slide.
  • It is highly recommended that all users remove their jewelry before going down the slide.  In the judgment of the staff on duty, persons will be specifically asked to remove jewelry items that may cause injury to themselves or the equipment.
  • Only approved swim suits are allowed. No cut-off jeans or swimwear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, or metal ornamentation is allowed.
  • Elderly persons, those suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, or persons using prescription medication should consult their physician before using the slide.
  • Individuals who are pregnant or have back problems should not use the slide.
  • Slide pool must be clear of all patrons when slide is operating.  Users are prohibited from catching children at the bottom of the slide.
  • Rider assumes all risk of injury due to misuse of the slide.
  • All other general Indoor Pool Rules apply.    
Locker Room Rules
  • Children 6-years old or older may use the locker room of their gender or use one of our family changing rooms. Children five and under can use opposite gender locker rooms.
  • Shoes, shirts, and shorts/pants are required when leaving the locker room and pool area and upon entering the lobby area.  All clothing must be dry to enter the lobby.
  • Please lock up all valuables.  Lockers are for daily use only.  Locks will be cut if left on for over 24 hours.
Rules for Groups of 10 or More
  • The actions and conduct of organized groups are the responsibility of the group leaders.  Misconduct of individuals may result in dismissal of the group. Refunds will not be given for such circumstances.
